the first one draws away from the woman because of all the surroundings. In my opinion get closer to her and make her the main feature with some of that beautiful scenery behind her

I think these pictures would benefit from a closer shot of the model.
Also trying to keep the focus on the model and not the scenery (unless it adds some element to the overall picture; the grass seems unnecessary).

The composition of the second picture doesn't work for me either (dead center).
In the first picture, the bottom right corner has weeds that take attention from the model.
Both are nicely exposed in my opinion and very pretty model. =)

of course, I'm new also and could be completely wrong...haha

ty all I do love the cropped version much much better ty ronlane . I was trying to get that reflection on the water .. The 2nd one that pathway has alot of memories for her and that is why I chose to take the picture they way I did .

Glad you liked it. I feel that draws you more to the reflection. I would even consider cropping a little tighter on the left but I did not want to hack your watermark. (crop out the stick just left of her hand.)

I think they are lovely especially with ronlane's crop. Don't forget to level the water too.

I like Ron's edit, but since her body and legs are facing to viewer right, I feel that side should be more open than he did with his edit.... more like this:

If she were standing in the right wheel path with the same framing, the pic would look better in my opinion.

Don't think any amount of processing is going to save the first shot.

The placement of the model is just unnatural and strange, reflection is distracting more than an important composition element.

The second picture is actually very nice. Only thoughts on that would be a tighter crop, or a more shallow DOF. The brush on the left is distracting.
