My First Eagle

After hearing reports for a few weeks of a Bald Eagle Along a favorite stretch of river, I finally saw it today!

He never got close enough for my 70-300 to get any awesome shots, and I never saw him (her?) land.

Still very excited for my first sighting and photos All pretty extreme crops

Yep, usually a 70-300 just won't reach out for an eagle but I know your excitement 'cause I remember the first time I saw one. Now they are getting pretty common here.

Very nice. Congrats. I just spent the last couple days in an area trying to get my first eagle.

Nice. We have a nesting pair across the valley from us in the bluffs. It seems like they have a 6th sense for knowing when I don't have a camera.
