My first HDR

a few month ago i took some pictures thinking i'll combine them into a hdr. i tried with PS cs2, but i didn't like the result. yesterday, i saw someone write about photomatix, so i tried with that.
here's what i got:



and these were the original pictures.



feel free to download these photos, maybe combine them again, and show me how it's done

Looks good, doesn't it?
A bit small for us to really see, but ... it's ok, isn't it?
I guess that if that Photomatix-HDR had been mine, I'd have taken that back into PS to adjust the levels a bit further, selectively, I suppose, since part of the hallway are now a bit on the dull side, which need not be.
But hey, I am only at the beginning of just playing with (false) HDRs, so what can I say?
