My First Long Exposures.

So this is my first set of photos taken with my new ND400 filter and shutter release cord. Mix that together with the D7000 and a steady tripod it makes for a good combination.


I think I maybe should've waited for the sun to go further down before i started taking these photos.


So honestly, what do you guys think of my first long exposures?

Nicely done, you can't go wrong with long exposures and a rocky beach! My favourite is #5, though I wonder (can't tell at this size) how sharp the boat is? I would have thought that at that long shutter speed the boat may have been moving a bit.

i've recently become obsessed with long exposures as well! love the way it makes the water. my favourite is the first two. maybe you should look into some graduated filters as well so you can balance the exposure of the sky with your foreground.
