If you go to the section at the top of this thread, the procedure for posting pictures is explained briefly. Below is a link to a little more detailed explanation that I wrote up a couple of years ago. You used the "Img" commands properly but you didn't put the URL of a picture between them. You still use "Img" and not "Image" on this board.

Hi Skate, I know it can be frustrating while you're figuring it out, I was a little rabid myself when I first joined here. Try it a couple times in the "test" forum when you think you've got it down to make sure. You'll get there, and we're looking forward to seeing your work!

Also just keep trying different things and hitting the "Preview" button. If it doesn't work in preview it's not going to work in a post.

It really isn't very hard at all but there are a couple of basic concepts you are probably missing.
