Hello everyone, i am new here and have been getting into HDR a bit this year, absolutely love it I am going to do a lot more of it.
Here are some of my samples. Last months I undertook a driving trip from Sydney to Brisbane around the back of New South Wales.
I had 4 days in which I was able to fully concentrate on HDR landscapes. It was a great opportunity.
Here are some first results. I know some may have some halo effects, but I personally still like them a lot.
Are halos a definite no,no. Or is it allowed under certain circumstances?
I am not sure how to upload from my iPad in this post!!!!!

I use tinypic.com to hold the pics I want to upload here. After you upload your pic(s) to tinypic they will give you 4 different ways to post a pic. Copy the second down way then paste it in the text block you write your message in here. When you then save the box your pic(s) will appear.

I prefer flickr. Used to upload to photobucket, but I'm glad I switched to flickr.

About halos, I strive to minimize them. If there are clearly visible halos, they should be adding something to the picture as a whole. As a general rule, at least for me, halos are no-no.

HALOS ARE NEVER OKAY!!!!

The halo results from the overprocessing of the HDR. Remember that even with HDR you still want to look for optimal lighting conditions and let the photos do most of the work and not the processing.
