I already know that the focus is off, but I'm looking for further C&C on what I can do in post processing to improve this image... (I also won't mind if you tell me what things I may have done right... That helps me to improve too...)

I think I would have preferred a vertical crop... or if the kids were more to the right (ish) side of the frame.

One of the girls is in mid blink or something....

There is a tree trunk (or something) in the background near her head that is a bit distracting.

Otherwise I like it.

Adorable. You captured a great moment. Agree with Bus Rider on framing issues. You might try a tighter crop.

Try this in B&W, crop so that they are in the right 1/3, and add a little vignette perhaps.

Seems a bit over exposed for my taste. I think the image would be 100x stronger if you were in front of them making eye contact with the girl on the right side of the frame. Well that and having them focused

Vertical orientation would help too...so you don't chop off the little chubby toddler hands.

You captured a great moment. A moment that will last forever for you. I like photos to be off center (rule of thirds). I also prefer photos that aren't overly touched. Those girls are beautiful as it is.

I'd probably crop in closer. It's an adorable shot. Great exposure and color. REALLY soft. The soft feel is great, but the details of their faces are getting lost in it tool

And what I love about this picture is that you got both sharing a moment. I have a very hard time getting both kids in the same frame interacting with each other.....and mine don't pose yet.
