My Labrador

I am new to photography but took a really sweet photo of my yellow lab. She is about 8 years old and is the most caring and gentle dog I have ever had. She is great with the kids and never gets angry. She is always happy to see anyone and loves everyone just the same. She has a special place in my heart and it is so sad to see her age. Let me know what you think of this photo, I used Lightroom to edit it.

8 years is not that old for the dog of this size, she still has 7-8 years if everything will go well.
On this picture she looks sad, at least the eye is sad, there is not much more to see which actually works well for this picture with the minimal dof you used. Show us some other pics of her so we can have a bit fuller idea of her looks.
