My Lightroom 4 not working on Canon 70D RAW files.

I have recently upgraded to Canon 70D from Canon T3i (600D). I was using lightroom 4 for processing the RAW (CR2) files form t3i, when I try to process the RAW (CR2) files from my 70D the lightroom does not support the format. I know the 70D has the new processor.
My question is, should I upgrade to lightroom 5 or any patch updates are available for lightroom 4?

No updates just convert your RAW images into a DNG (Digital Negative) and then they will work. I had to do this once when I rented a 70D for a weekend...I believe Adobe offers free software for this.

Thanks I found the DNG convertor 8.3 on adobe website which supports Canon 70D.

Are you on the latest version of LR4?

Yes my lightroom 4 is an updated one.

My advice is update your camera to the Nikon D7100 :mrgreen: that should solve your problem.
