oh yeah, as well as having loads of birds on the island, i found a seal colony near where i was staying, so i took alot of pics, here are a few.
Is it me, or were they looking at me with suspicious eyes?

I'm not sure my composition in the first one was good at all bit dark maybe, i tried to lighten it in PS... but let me know what you think.

The composition, for me, is fine. Some others would tell you to crop it so that the seals are nearer the lower left. Looks like the sun was behind you, so it'll always be very dark with the seals and very bright at the sea. Unless you have a very large flash.


Pff, they look fine to me. It's not like you can ask them to pose for you.


A rather uninteresting fact. Did you know that one way to tell the difference between a seal and a sea lion is that seals don't have flappy ears but sea lions do?
Approaching a large lump of grey flab on a rock and asking to insect its flaps may not be the wisest thing in the world to do mind. For more than one reason...
