So I making a new dish today its Pesto Udon with red ginger. How'd it turn out?

I hope it tastes as good as it seems. Pesto is too liquid... wait, this is a photography forum
I would have preferred the red thing in focus too. I like the asymmetrical yet geometrical effect of the plate.
Anyway, photographing my dishes is something I would like to do, but almost never tried because at that precise time I'm more attracted by having dinner than photographing .

Yea I might have added too much sauce XD After I ate it all left was sauce...The red stuff is ginger I think I should have used a smaller aperture.

Looks good. Maybe 1/1000 of a stop underexposed, or maybe it's just my eye. Nice work though!

What ever the plate is sat on is very distracting, and DOF is too shallow

Colors appear to be off too. Red hue to everything. Could be this crap work monitor, but I don't thing so.
