i dont know quite what it is but i do like this picture

Well, to me (a noob) it has nice textures, good DOF... But it lacks something in the composition. Is there somewhere else you can put him? ...In the bushes somewhere or in front of a barn? Also...under his, ummmm 'chin' is pretty dark (or is it my monitor?), just a little too dark.

Yes, the bottom of the head (?) is pretty dark, and it seems to have gotten cut off at the bottom of the picture. Decent DOF, though.
