I recently converted my old Sony DSC-P72 to Infrared thanks to the how-to on this forum. Still learning and with little greenery out at the moment in VA, its more just for fun at the moment. Let me know what you think.
This camera has the film negative end behind the glass over the sensor and pictures taken in B&W mode of camera. Photos have been edited to adjust levels and contrast.

#1 Apple Orchard

#2 Farm

#3 Shenandoah River (my fav)

I prefer the second photo. I like the composition and contrast. I just would have cropped out whatever it is near the center bottom of the photo. The first and third have quite a few blown out spots.

Second shot is really really outstanding; third is also very beautiful; but the shadow region in the foerground does not dissolve smoothly into the rest of the image

Regards :D

Thanks for the feedback. That is the very top of the mailbox post in the second shot. Will definitely try to crop it out or edit it out. Could the blown out portions be from the post editing?

I am again deceived here;:x

What i thought was another blunder; in the third image the reflections in the the waterbody was thought out to be dry land in the foreground-a tarred foreground :grumpy: ; anyone who recognized it the right way, can now look at it and get a wrong view, as happened to me? ;)

Regards :D

AH.. yes, that is the river. It's very shallow along this stretch and very flat. The sun was setting when this was taken and that was the reflection on the water from the trees along the edge. I don't recall seeing the reflection in the water when taking this, but when on the computer, I thought it turned out quite nice. Starting to love the conversion. Took more at an icy pond today near my house. Will try to get a few up too.

The last shot is primo good. I like the white trees and the reflection in the water.

Personally, I like all of them. Good job!

The second one- hands down one of my favorite would be perfect desktop pic haha
