Does anyone have any tips for me?

Or advice if I can do better.
I'm just a starter

Watch your exposure a bit more closely, you're overexposing from time to time.

Don't always place the subject in the middle of the frame.

Look at lots of pictures that you like, see where they've put the subject (if there is one), how the shadows are falling (and therefore where the light was coming from), and what the tonal range is (what are the brightest brights and the darkest darks, how light and dark are they? What about everything in the middle?)

That should keep you busy for a while ;)

What Amolitor said!

Pet pictures show best when the camera is down low at their level.
The trees and the flower seem out of focus.
The abstract parachute or whatever it is isn't bad.
Not getting the shadow on the beach.

What amolitor said, especially about the light, and do not be shy to get closer to your subject, get down to the eye level and try to fill the frame with your main subject, not with the background.
