i always noticed the time was fast (for my time zone) is the time based off east coast US time???

There ARE Virus' for mac, just people don't think the users are worth much to target.

I don't click on links, but that's just because I usually can't be bothered. I'm not worried about getting a virus from a link to a flickr account...

Thanks guys, ive only been shooting pictures for a week or so i have just gotten a Nikon D50 and im in love what a great camera!
Any pointers where you can see im going wrong so far?
