Thanks for looking. Any C&C is apreciated. One note is that on my laptop at home the picture was not so dark. You could see much detail in his hair and background was not all black. I may repost when I get home.

Thank you very much. At home I could see tons of detail straight on. Well, hopefully a calibrated monitor someday. All I did in the conversion was a tad bit of contrast and sharpness in View NX 2.0 .

I wasn't sure about the crumbs on his chin. I believe that they are part of the character of the kid, but then they are a distraction in some ways.

Tough decision...tidy up the crumbs for a cracking portrait,
or
Leave the crumbs for a character shot?

Lovely shot. I love the lighting, his angle of view, and the contrast. The only thing I can say is that the white shirt could be a more neutral shade in order to give more attention back to the boy's face
