My trip to New Hampshire

One final one. Shot with a CPL early in the morning.

Funny story about how I came to shoot a stream and not wildlife. I was in this hunting preserve with my boss and his family. It's off season, so we've to the run of the place. My bosses son Cory and I spent the whole previous day running around in an ATV looking for elk in the rain. Saw a small herd of calves and does, but it was pouring and I didn't want to get my camera wet.

So anyhow, Sunday morning rolls around and, like I'd told people the night before, I got up real early to get to one of the feedlots to see if I could get early morning elk. Anyway, I got about half a mile away from camp and all of a sudden a boar is in the woods about 15 feet from me. I scare the crap out of him and he scares the crap out of me. He takes off across the road not ten feet from where I am.

Now boar can be mean. I decided at that point that I didn't really want to be in their territory without somebody with me that knew a little about the behaviors of wild boar.

So a quarter mile later, I find this stream and decide that it would be the perfect time to try out my new CPL since the light was weak anyhow.
