What camera/Lens setup are you using?

I would suggest doing a search on The Rule of Thirds. That is a very basic concept that can drastically improve your compositions.

@HL45: RX100, so doing major lens adjustments might be tricky. Any tips regarding aperture, focal length etc. that might be suited for this kind of photos?
@HughGuessWho: I agree, the composition of these photos could be better. I actually wanted to try something different than rule of thirds, perhaps not the best idea if you're not the most experienced. How about the two below, composition wise? I don't like the distracting plant in the background on the second one, but that's another discussion.
