I don't understand what this picture is about.

It looks like the food is in the best focus but that is well below the stronger parts of the image.
It is underexposed (note the histogram) and there is lots of perspective distortion - note the divergent verticals. Those aren't wrong if
they are part of the composition but the most obvious object, the beer bottle is at a slant. The fact that the label is front and center implies that the label is important but it is out of focus.

It isn't obvious that you have decided how and what you want to take a picture of and have focused and exposed about this.

Here is one of my wife's meals last week. She fried catfish, fried green tomatoes, coleslaw, Navy beans, tomato pie, corn bread, hushpuppies, sweet potatoes, boiled potatoes, and peach cobbler. Yummmm Good!
