My wifes uncle & kids

Not prepared, not a studio shot, horrible lighting and the kids would not sit still..... lol but i did it cause i need practice doing people shots.....
I decided not to try to glam these up in photoshop but do the natural look....out of like 100 shots in only happy with the second one here.....

I think i need to get into more controlled lighting..... any tips....

I think that first one needs to be cropped differently. It looks unbalanced because the kid on the left has his body cropped out and the other doesn't but there is all that space on the right.
And I feel for ya with having uncooperative subjects. Seems like the last 5 shoots I've done the kids were just absolutely unruly!
