Nashville Fountain at Schermerhorn Symphony Center C&C

Went to Nashville Saturday night to eat at Margaritaville. Took my camera, of course.

Walked around downtown, took several shots.

This is the fountain at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

All I can tell you is that these make me want to be there, beautiful....really like!! I used to live in Nashville a long time ago, I see that downtown along the river has really changed!

Of the two skyline photos, I find the one that includes that interesting railing refreshingly different from the usual skyline photos. Some might argue that this railing is competing for attention, and indeed, it is, but I like the two focal points in this case! To my mind, it helps the overall image dynamics to see the bend in the railing meet with the vertical line "coming down from" the tallest building of the skyline. A good many diagonals at work here, which make an image dynamic. Really nice.

And I really (!) like your straight-on view of the wood of the walkway on that bridge! Wonderful abstract!

Didn't get any questions from anyone. And the only looks I got were from two guys on the opposite side of the bar. However, when the waiter brought the check, he hinted that I should give him a big tip "since I'd been taking his picture all night." HA!

I think your fountain shot is a clear winner. Just beautiful. I think the dark night sky with the strobe lights really makes your shot special, it makes the figures pop and your exposure on the fountain is so silky and perfect. Great work!
