National Zoo

Went to the zoo today....the lions were tired today I guess...not as active as last time I went. They are getting bigger.

Nice set! #1 seems a little underexposed to me, but very nice otherwise. #2 bugs me a bit with the branch across the face and the right blown out hear. It is too bad, it's cute little guy!! I really like #7. The lighting really get the neck muscles to show. Really can see the power in that lion! Very nice!

Thanks...yeah I was disappointed there was a great peacock picture but I accidentally knocked the camera into Tv mode while walking to the bird house and was not paying attention...so they were dark...that one I salvaged some not perfect but still neat. And the darn Red Pandas just do not photograph well...but I think it may be due to the fact that I always manage to get to them when the sun is directly overhead...need to change that next time I go. Guy only came out of his nest for 2 seconds...climbed the tree...climbed back down and hid again. Was sad about that.

Yeah that picture I like alot...would be even better without the nasty fence thing in the background...
