    Watched this robin build the nest, the sit on it for just about two weeks. Was getting really excited to try to get shots of it feeding the chicks, but pretty sure a Blue Jay got to the eggs just before they hatched.

    But seems the couple of Morning Doves that have lived my backyard for years now are to try their luck in it now...

    Very cruel. I discovered a robins nest near my shed. Three eggs in it. Had the same hopes. About a week ago mamma scolded me big time. One had hatched. Couple days ago the nest was on the ground and no sign of the little one or eggs. Bummer.

    At least you may get the chance with the morning doves.

    I'm shooting through a window, and that holy tree gets no light in that spot, so I was lucky to get some sun poking through on that Dove shot. Hopefully I get to see chickees in two weeks.
