I am a fan of unrehearsed and candid portraiture, so this is a win for me. The only suggestion I have is that the light is reflecting unpleasantly on his hair, especially the edge of his bangs. That is the first place in the image where my eye was drawn after his face. Seems my eye should follow his gaze, down to the cell phone. Consider burning it out some of the highlights in the hair, just making it more subtle. Otherwise, very nice!

Nicely done. It's a small point, but I would crop on the left so the left edge is as close to his head as the top, and then darken the wall just a bit behind his head
