Not too much detail and your horizon is tillted to the right.

It looks like a wide open aperture and not set for a long enough exposure. If you get this type of opportunity again, try stopping down your aperture to f/8 to f/16 with more time to capture the light and some detail.

Keep shooting.

closing down that aperature will give you nice star burst looking flare around the lights. And go a bit longer on that exposure to open up those shadows, the exposure it too dark. I think it would make for a real appealing shot if done a bit differently. But definitely bracket, shoot all different ways, shoot f2.8 f7 f 14 f22 while switching up the shutter too. And don't delete anything until your on the computer and you can look at the specs and analyze the picture to really get an understanding to what the camera is doing for you, sometimes you get a nice surprise!

Beautiful, peaceful area. Out of curiosity, what are you shooting with?

Here's another shot taken a dusk with the five star filter on.

Kundalini
I am using a Nikon D 40 with a Nikkor 55-200 I used my remote for this shot so didn't aggitate the camera.
