What's new

need a poster printing service

I've set up a simple poster in photoshop with smart objects so band members, venues, dates, etc can be changed fast and easy.

PS is not a design software. Use Illustrator or, at the very least, Quark or InDesign.

That said, for posters to advertise shows you could do shells. Shells are pre-printed in large quantities with all the colors you want. Then, when you have an actual show, you add the date, time, location, etc in black ink. You could even buy a large format printer to do the black ink yourself (some of those are quite cheap on the used market) but you need to make sure that the paper used to print the shells is compatible with the the printer you would use.

I'll look into the shells....I've always used photoshop for my design's, Using smart objects I can go in and change whatever text I need to quite easily.

I did not know that.....ok, guess my problem is I really don't want to have to learn another program!!!!....lol
