need advice re: best ball head

My old B-1 ball head keeps locking up even after 3 repairs.... The Really Right Stuff ball head (BH-55) cost $455. The Kirk BH-1 costs $355. Can anyone tell me which is best? Is the RRS worth the $100 more, if so why. I'm a very serious semi-pro photographer...(sold a few images). But really need a new Ball Head. Help is appreciated.

Thanks JWKWD.... are you recommending ACRATECH over RRS and KIRK? I looked at the new Acratech. Looks good at $329.00. Strange looking animal. Are you an Acratech user? Appreciate your advice to look further.
