need advice with crystal chandeliers

hey everyone,

i'm shooting 2 -3 ft crystal chandeliers for a catalog. two-point lighting @ a 45 degree angle, black velvet backdrop. what kind of lens/filters should i use in order to achieve best results with crystal?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would most definitely shoot at least a few shots with a polarizer. You've got so much glass that the reflections could prove to be a total nightmare.

Polarizer....
But you could try moving the lights, no? Maybe backlit would be cool.
