1- Too Distracting
2-ok
3-12- Boring, find better subjects

all which look vary point and shoot

What could be more interesting than the sloping lake in #12? It's not quite enough of a slope for waterskiing, but it could be fun in a raft.

1: the bars just take too much from the waterfall
2: interesting, but I'd have played with the angles a bit more; somewhere, that tree's got a better shot waiting
3: not enough to be a full cityscape, too much to focus on any specific section - back up or zoom in to give it a specific subject
4: similar to 3; pick one, or back out to show the whole flock
5: more or less angle - right now it just looks like you missed level, and the powerline centered at the top is a bit of a distraction
6: a bit hard to recognise for a second - not necessarily too bad from an artistic standpoint, but hard to say what you were going for
7: interesting tree, but the foreground and background objects are distracting - this would be a good place to look for an angle with clear foreground, and play with DOF to blur the background
8: I like it overall, but this would be a good example of a place to get the horizon about 1/3 of the way from the bottom rather than centered, cutting out some excess sidewalk and possibly improving the effect a bit as well
9,10,11: that distortion is distracting - move back and zoom in
12: I like the tree, but lakes are generally level
13: this is one of those cases where soft light (overcast) would probably be a better choice - the tree-tunnel loses some power to all that happy sunlight

Hi,

generally I think you need to pay attention to level the horizon as most of your photographs are tilted.

Also, in photography most of the time we want to include a main subject. Be clear on what is the main subject in the photograph and which are not.

Most of the time, keeping the photo simple is the way to go.

Happy snapping!
Cheers!:D

Thank you so much for the good feedback thats what I really was looking for.

as far as the picture with the orange tree and I really tried to get a good angle from different section but it was one of those things where no matter what, something was always on the way and I really wanted to get the whole tree....but again thank you for the feedback.
