Need Help With Canon Flash

I recently purchased a Canon Speedlite 430EX II and for some reason, the manual that came with it is not as easy for me to follow as was lets say, the camera manual. Any suggestions of web sites or blogs that might better explain how to use it. Or at least give samples... of do's and don'ts.... anything? :blushing:
