I'm going to be trying my hand at some product photography soon And I could use some advice. A friend of mine is starting an organic bar soap company, and I thought it would be a good opportunity to do some product shots, and help a friend get up and running.
Anyway, I have seen all the home made light tents/boxes, but real ones seem to be reasonably priced and I would rather just buy something if the quality is there. For now its just bar soap, so a fairly small tent should work, but I am not opposed to going larger if you guys think that it will be more useful in the future, plus If I include other Items such as Bottles of oils, and raw ingredients in the photos, I might need the space.
Any recommendations? Particular brands and models? For lighting I have a couple of 285HV, a canon 430ez, some random speed light, and access to just about any continuous light you could think of. Any essential light modifiers that I might want to pick up?
Thanks
