Need some help editing a pic

I third the GIMP - its a free photoshop-like program with a different interface. Consider GIMPshop too - its GIMP with a Photoshop-like interface. There are also some other simpler programs out there too. See samanax's post.

I'm sorry, but this was rude and completely unnecessary.

This is the BEGINNERS photo forum, people come here for help. Instead of trying to embarrass the original posted, either don't respond or help them learn how to do the edit on their own. The world of photo editing can be very daunting, and I don't know about you, but I would be no where without the help of others. A book or a manual is nice, but something the best way to learn is to be shown and taught directly. Is that not what this forum is here for?

Totaly 100% agree^^^^^^^^^^^^I am one of those people that can read something 10 times and still not understand it . Now if I was told how to do something and made to do it with my own hands then it seems simple to me . As far as Theundisputed just ignore him I have seen more posts from him trying to make people look bad more than help them. Granted he does sound like he knows what he is talking about when it come's to PS but it seems like instead of helping people he rather bash on them....Just MHO

Beef, I still don't do much for post editing. I use picasa more than anything. I just don't enjoy post editing. I like my shots to resemble what I saw. On a side note I have only had one animal that I could use the flash on and never get pet eye. It was really odd. You welcome for the edit.
