Ok i am going to be shooting some more motorsports but will be far from the race line but need close up shots.

What can i do to get more distance with my 70-300 IS & USM?

I did see the Canon Extender EF 2x III, but it says - Note: This lens is only compatible with fixed focal length L-series lenses 135mm and over, as well as the EF 70-200/2.8L, EF 70-200/2.8L IS, EF 70-200/4L, and EF 100-400/4.5-5.6L.

Research some teleconverters that are compatable with your lense...

been looking, cant find anything. Maybe im not looing in the right place.

At a distant focal length the use of a tripod or single post support would be irreplacable. Espcailly since you are shooting objects in motion, you will want the camera/lens to be perfectly still otherwise you will incur further blurring.

The Kenko 300pro should work with that lens but i would only use a 1.4x on a zoom but fitted to a 70-300 image quality would be average
