Need some ideas for a background.

A friend of mine has a super rare hood ornament for a 1920’s Chevrolet. It’s chrome and is a replica of the Lindbergh airplane with local advertising on it. Definitely a one of a kind item and very beautiful. What would you suggest I use for a background? I’m thinking of outdoors with an ISO 100 b&w film. DOF might or might not matter depending upon what’s behind it during the shoot. Any ideas appreciated.

Mahogony occasional table on a stretch of perfect grass? Set the aperture to f4 or under from a distance of a couple of feet to highlight the subject.
