Need Someone Good with Photo Editing

Would it be possible to add hipster glasses and a scarf to this photo? I have very minimal experience with photoshop and was wondering if it was possible without looking entirely ridiculous.

I would but a friend of hers asked me if I knew anyone who could photoshop it. (As you can see, I don't.) I think they are planning on doing something with a bunch of photoshopped photos for her birthday. Not entirely sure.

It wouldn't need to be perfect, just better than the above one. And a checkerboard scarf, like those hipster ones.
