Last Saturday went out to my sister's, and began showing my nephew Tim how to use Elements. So, we traipsed about in the yard snapping. I stalked him for awhile as he was shooting. Didn't come up with any brilliant images, but just a couple with amusing expressions.

Here he was, trying to snap a photo of his dog Jewelee, who of course was markedly cooperative. Not. She didn't seem as amused by his antics as I.

Later, he came across a spider dangling in its web, and wanted to try to get the web wet.

And? Did it work? Could he shower that web without destroying it?
These are funny. I like them. And although they are only "snapshots", as it were, I still think they stand out from the usual ones.

And for as long as you aimed at your nephew and his attempts to make Jewelee smile (or whatever it was he was waiting for?), she (!) looks cooperative enough to me.

He actually did wet the web without destroying it! I haven't seen his shots of it. I think the light was fading rather quickly by that time.

I'm not sure what he was trying to get her to do at that moment, I was just glad that they were close together! And she is the sweetest dog.

With my longer lens, I was able to catch her before she stood up to come over. If we seem as if we're paying attention to her, she'll come over to say hello.
