nervous subject

My husband HATES being photographed and is such a nervous subject, but has agreed to be tolerant of me with my new camera. He has his eyes closed in most photos I've taken of him in the past, so I tried a new technique and finally have a few decent photos.

He always closes his eyes (he says it's because of the flash, even if I don't use it). I asked him to close his eyes and open them when I say to. I mentally count "one" then snap the picture. So far, it has worked wonderfully, even when I do use fill flash.

I really like the poses in #2 & #3. He makes a good model but maybe next time he might want to shave.
