Hey!
I started taking pictures about 6 years ago. Since that first camera I've taken ~200,000 photos and have finally decided to get into photography for real. I'm compiling my portfolio right now. You can see some of what I have at my website:

Last week I received notification that one of my photos was accepted for publication... so I'm pretty happy... =) I am still totally an amateur, but I'm serious about getting practice. This summer I'm walking from Iowa City to Salt Lake City to photograph a historical reenactment over 118 days. It's going to be a blast.
I'm at college freshman, working on an English BA, Photography Minor.
