Hi,
This is my first post here. I'm a young teen who like art in general, but specially music and photogrpahy. I'd like to buy a new camera to upgrade from the basic point and shoot compact that my family uses in vacations, family ocasions, parties,... I want something only mine, with a better quality, and where I can develop my passion without my pictures being constantly erased ( -.-' ). I can't spend much (500-600 tops), but 200-400 would be great. I like film, but I think it'd be better to start with digital, while I don't know much. I really like dslr, but at that price range I can't find any great cameras ( wasn't expecting, too) and thinking about my favourite type of photography (street), I don't think it'd be very appropriate. I do care A LOT about the lenses. I think they're more important than the sensor itself. I prefer interchangeble lens system, but I don't mind if it's fixed and also prefer prime over zoom. Another thing, I'd really like it to have an hot-shoe mount and full manual control (ISO; Shutter; Aperture). I don't need all those fancy extras like wi-fi, bluetooth, gps; better, I don't want them, I prefer to have a better image quality and better cam quality and don't have those extras that I will never use.
