No longer a newbie, moving up!
My young daughter and I have been watching all of the episodes of "Heartland" on the CBC website. (CBC is Canada's national television company) The series is essentially a family drama set in ranch country of Alberta and deals with the lives of two sisters living on a ranch with their grandfather. Sounds kind of corny but is really quite nice and well produced. Nice programming to watch with my 9 year old daughter.
The music throughout the various episodes is very enjoyable. The site (Heartland) has a music player that streams the full length version of the songs heard during the episodes.
Have a listen if you like new music from young emerging artists.:thumbup:
