Hello all,
I've been reading this forum for some time now and really like what I see. Unfortunately, I'm not posting this under ideal circumstances. I used Magic Lantern last month for a long exposure and ever since then the auto focus stopped working in M, Av, Tv, and P modes. Furthermore, last night the shutter started acting like Bulb mode even though I was shooting 1/125. You pressed the shutter button once and the shutter opens, press it again and the shutter closes. I removed ML from the camera, Formatted the card, and reinstalled Canon's firmware. These actions fixed the shutter issue, but I still have the focusing problems. Any suggestions? I've tried multiple cards and lenses for whatever that's worth. Also, I'm pretty familiar with internet forums, so would posting this problem in another section yield me better resolutions? I know many people like myself never read the Intro forums on their respective forums.
As for about me, I wouldn't say I'm a beginner as I [think] I know the basics, but I'm aware that I have a lot to learn and that's also why I'm here. I hope to post some pics after polishing up a little bit. I visit the C & C section, try C & C the photos to myself and compare it to what you all(the pros) say.
TIA
