I took this while I was in Crescent City, Ca for work last week. I think it turned out OK, but I was wondering what you all would think of this HDR.

The HDR aspect itself isn't bad, slight haloing but nothing too terrible.

I'm just undecided on the composition/depth of field. The blurry portion on the left is a little distracting to my eyes, but the rest I enjoy.

Thank you for sharing.

Honestly, not what I expected. I thought id see a nice tall standing totem...Laying down it loses all of its detail. You can hardly tell what it is. I think the Halos are to strong around the subjects in the background. I do like the colors though. Kind of an eery look to it.

I actually enjoy it. as long as you know that its a totem pole...i think the colors and composition is very well executed. great job.

Looks like a colorized scene of Fallout 3 New Vegas

Is that a good thing?
You guys are pretty sensitive to Halos... I stopped processing this one 'cause I was bored. I plan to fix the remaining halos, but was over it at the time, and I didn't think they were very pronounced at all. Maybe it's my monitor?

Halos are visible but not bad. You see, we know to look for them..... If you post this on one of your other forums (non-photo oriented) you will be praised as a "pro" with amazing skill.

Haha, ain't that the truth. On my monitor, the post on the left of the building has halos that I need to deal with. Also, I see very slight halos on the bush to the left and even less so above the building. Are there any other pronounced halos I'm not seeing?
