Hi everyone, I'm Rachel and I just joined today. I found this forum while researching which camera I want to upgrade to. I currently have a rebel XTI. Lets see, I'm 27 years old(and often people thing I'm 15-17 :lol:

) and live in the Poconos, I have a 6 year old son and his father and I have been together for 8 years(still hoping for a ring, but I'm not holding my breath lol). I am a huge animal lover and work at a boarding kennel that my family owns walking dogs and also doing grooming. I also have 3 horses and a donkey, one of the horses I've had since I was 12, he's about 42 years old(which is older then the average lifespan of many horses) and he is like my child. I also have a border collie and a cat.
I've always had a passion for photography, but never thought I was good enough to charge. I've had many people tell me I should, but I just do it for the love of doing it.

Thanks everyone, I'm really excited to have found this forum(I'm a forum addict lol) Looking forward to learning how to improve my work, and hoping to get motivation to get out and start shooting more, I've been in a bit of a lull lately, so hoping that seeing some new ideas and reading about new techniques will help me get out of it!
