New lenses, "fun" with cats

Shooting a couple friends and their kids this weekend if the weather clears, and got a couple new lenses to play with ...



So Gizmo, the son to the other cat here, is less than impressed by the new fisheye ...



While his mom is a little annoyed at the SB-28DX Speedlight cycling ...



And the DoF on the 85mm f/1.4 is just sickeningly shallow, it's going to be fun blowing out backgrounds this weekend ...

No doubt, it is fantastic, and that is an amazing capture and shows what I'm saying to a T. The right eye is ever so slightly soft, while the left eye is sharper than a samurai's katana.

So I used this (10.5mm f/2.8 on the D5100) ...



To capture this (85mm f/1.4 on the D200 on the Gitzmo) ...



Which I used for this ...



And this ...



The glasses on the book was a recreation of a picture I have seen here, and the blown out Christmas lights for the background added.
