I tried the portrait as well but felt perhaps a tighter horizontal would work equally as well...then again, it's whatever he likes the best..as always.

This looks astonishing, the fog and color of the leaves is a really good combination.

Good shot. I try to shoot these types of shots in horiz and vertical and then I can decide later which is best.
