Most pro photographers will tell you that Pocket Wizards are their choice for radio remote firing of their strobe/flash lights.
They are quite expensive, which has keep many amateurs from owning them and opening a market for cheaper alternatives like the Cactus triggers.
One issue with PWs and all other radio systems (besides the fairly new Radio Poppers) is that the were manual control only. You had to set your flash power manually and figure out your exposure some how.
Well now Pocket Wizards are coming out with new units that will allow you to use your camera's TTL flash control system. The Canon compatible models will be out in early March with Nikon units to follow sometime after.
