Iowa Public Television's weekly program Iowa Outdoors did a segment about the Des Moines Astronomical Society's Ashton Observatory that aired October 1 @ 6:30 pm.
They filmed me setting up my 12" telescope for the club's weekly Public Night the night before the total lunar eclipse. Near the end of the segment they got a shot of a Moon photo I was chimping that I made with my Nikon D50 mounted on the focuser of my small f/5, 400 mm, 3.15" (80mm) aperture refracting telescope.
