Well after quite a long thought, i went out and brought myself the Canon 100-400mm IS USM lens, and managed to sneak and hour, out and about with it today. Its a cracking lens, its was a very overcast day, so had to resort to high ISO's and small apertures, and quite slow shutter to match.
But i think they came out alright, cant wait for my next outing.

Rabbit, sheltering from the rain under a fallen tree.

you mean large apertures right? Small would be like f/22+

But from the looks of things, I imagine you are pretty happy with the product. They look great.

the rabbit is funny and like the colors on the robin but would be nicer if we could see where it's standing...

(nicer... does that exist?? jajaja))
