Hello everyone, I just got into photography and paid a visit to some botanical gardens.
The following shot was taken right before mid day at 1/20 Sec, F22, ISO 125 using a tripod. It was 3 separate images bracketed at -0.7-0-+7 and merged. Just looking for some insight. Did the colors turn out too rich? how is the composition? is it interesting at all? Thanks for the feedback :)

color wise i like it. composition wise i find the angle of view interesting, but find myself wishing i could see the whole tree.
overall the shot is well done. something a little different than the usual tree shot.

I appreciate that. I couldn't get the entire tree because it was huge and it was in a relatively small botanical garden. You're right and the picture just didn't give the height justice.

Welcome to TPF.

It is a well exposed and interesting looking image.
I would normally expect the underside of the branches to be a little darker but I since this is HDR I can see where the appeal is in having them brighter.
I do agree that I would like to see more of the trunk.

Overall nice image.

It looks amazing, especially the yellow and green combination.

Well for a first post I`ve got to say WOW, totally love how you have done this and can imagine it being a very big tree. Great shot and work, I look forward to seeing more and imo just the right amount of editing. The colours go beautifully together too.

It's a stunning shot! I might drop the saturation just a bit but not too much, I think it's a matter of preference at this point. I really like it. :encouragement:
