Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Ok so I want to buy a camera, I have about $1000 to spend for stuff, what can you recommend? I was looking and I found a nice Canon t5i bundle with an another lens for $879. Can someone help me out here on what I should be going after as a beginner? Thanks.

A decent camera with a couple of lenses that cover a range of distance is a good place to start. Once you get into it and discover what aspects of photography you're passionate about then you can get gear that's more specialized. I'm a Nikon guy so not familiar with that model but Canon makes good cameras that will do fine for you.

The word "bundle" always makes me cringe. There are a lot of stores that try to pump-up the perceived value of a camera by throwing in a lot of junk-grade accessories with the belief that the buyer won't know they are junk grade.

These commonly include lots of filters that none of us would ever want to use... and sometimes they'll tell you are including multiple "lenses" but these "lenses" actually thread onto the front of your existing lenses -- real lenses attach to the camera body... not to another lens. It's better to just stick to the Camera & lens "kit" ... skip the accessories. The camera will come with everything you need to start shooting EXCEPT a memory card (that's the one item you'll need to buy separately.)

There are some well-established vendors... B&H Photo and Adorama come to mind... that may create bundles that have extra items that aren't "junk" grade. They may throw in an inexpensive camera bag... perhaps a spare battery... that sort of thing. But don't buy anything that comes with extra "lenses" unless they are genuine Canon lenses ... or filters... or tripods... that's pretty much a red flag that they're bundling garbage quality stuff.

As for cameras... Canon used what was pretty much the same 18MP sensor on the 7D (classic), 60D, T2i, T3i, T4i, and T5i. The difference between all the Rebel bodies was mostly body features -- but not sensor. The T6i and T6s are the biggest "real" upgrades to the Rebel in years. The T6i (and T6s) boast an extra stop of ISO performance and the sensor resolution jumps to 24MP (previous models were 18MP). They also improve the focus system and use the system similar to that found on the 70D and 7D classic (19 point system instead of the 9 point system). It also has the latest generation of Canon's dual-pixel CMOS focus system (which allows full-time autofocus while shooting video -- something most DSLRs can't do... or at least can't do very well.) They also added WiFi and NFC. The price tag goes up by $50... but well worth it considering it has several noticeable upgrades over the T5i and prior models.

A typical Canon kit will include T6i body with the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens. Some kits will upgrade the lens to the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 18-135mm IS STM lens. Some "bundles" (from reputable sellers) will include the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM telephoto zoom. If the "bundle" includes the EF 75-300mm... skip it (that's possibly the most mediocre lens Canon makes).
